Spring Break El Salvador

Deadline this Sun. Nov.12 If you are interested in the Spring Break El Salvador Mission Trip (Sat. Mar.10 morning – Sat. Mar.17 evening), the deadline for the application and $250 deposit is this Sun. Nov. 12. The total cost is approx. $1400 ea. There is a mandatory team meeting after church Sun. Nov.19 to give trip info, answer questions and discuss how to raise the remaining funds as a team. So ask the Lord if He has called you to go, no matter what it takes, and trust Him to provide.

We will stay at the gated SHIP (Shelter the Homeless International Projects) compound. Most days you will either go out with the work crew to build / repair homes for the surrounding community members or stay at the compound to help put on VBS for the community children who come. There will also be some opportunities to share the gospel and participate in community Bible studies and worship services.
Find the application at (www.shipinternational.org). Please type out the application on-line, then print and sign (no hand-written applications please). Make $250 non-refundable deposit check to Faith Bible Church with “Missions, El Salvador” in the memo line. Submit application and deposit to Dean Endler this Sunday.

I am so excited to start December with new ideas and fresh focus on the beauty,  joy, and peace of Christmas. The focus of this time together is How to Make Christmas Christ-Centered. I know we will all leave this time together being more prepared to help set a Christ-centered focus in each of our homes, areas of work, and places of influence.
